Thanks to volunteer indexers at FamilySearch, you can gain access to records by searching by your ancestor's name. This is the default search. But it covers only about 25% of the records available at FamilySearch, both in America and in Europe and United Kingdom. You will be amazed at the tricks I share to uncover different spellings of their ancestor's names, ways to prevent slogging through many pages of results until they find an ancestor's record, how to focus and finesse their search to make sure they waste no time looking for a record that does not exist in FamilySearch, and how to unlock images that are available but not accessible from their home computers or that may only return an index or abstract, and not the actual image of the record even though it is in FamilySearch. It's not visible if only searched by the ancestor's name.
