This is a workshop, please bring your LAPTOP.
This workshop covers the non-indexed records which require genealogists to search by location, subject, keyword, and record type and THEN by name. This includes the remaining 75% of the records on FamilySearch that most genealogists never use. The tricks taught in this workshop lead to a "reasonably exhaustive search" of FamilySearch by learning how to find a specific record by searching collections, the catalog, the wiki, the books and microfilm/microfiche numbers. You will also learn how to return to FamilySearch several months later and only search the records that have been recently updated or added to the site and not waste time re-looking in all the records they've already searched.
Instructor: Janet O'Conor Camarata $20.00 members / $25.00 non-members (and free access to the library the day of class)
