We usually take the 8:00 a.m. train (Sumner Sounder to Seattle). However, you may get on a train closer to your home.Check the Sounder schedule. You may also take a later train. Make sure you have an Orca card or a Senior Card, prepare ahead of time.
After arriving in Seattle (8:52), there is a walk of about 2 blocks to the bus stop. We take the bus to the Columbia Center and stop for coffee and/or a snack or breakfast. On the bus, you will use your Orca card again.
Then walk about 4 blocks up hill to the library for the 10:00 opening.
Spend the day researching, and bring your lunch, drinks or snacks. Bring money for copies or a thumb drive. Reminder: pack carefully; you will have to carry your things!
Coming Home:  We walk down the hill to the train station (about .7 mile). Please do not walk alone in this area and remember that we will be back on Pacific Standard Time. You may choose, when you want to leave, I usually leave about 5:00. Remember it is the beginning of a 3 day weekend!
